 • Series: The Gospel in Romans

Part 16 in the sermon series "The Gospel in Romans | the power of God for salvation" CG Questions ‌ 1. Recap Romans 1 together and discuss how Romans 1 transitions into Romans 2. ‌ 2. In Romans 2:2 Paul agrees with his audience regarding God’s judgement. What is the truth with which Paul agrees? ‌ 3. While Paul agrees with them on this point, read Romans 2:3-4 and consider how is it that his audience is actually wrong in how they apply this point? ‌ 4. Romans 2:4 says that the riches of God’s kindness are mean to lead to repentance. What does verse 5 describe is the result of failure to repent? Discuss the seriousness of this contrast. Consider if there are areas in your life that you need to repent and seek the help of a Christian friend or elder to walk with you. ‌ 5.
