Jesus prays in light of the reality that he has effectively revealed the word of God to the disciples so that that receive, know, believe and keep the word. How does the believer today come to receive, know, believe and keep the word? 3. What has your experience with the word of God been in recent weeks. Don’t just discuss how much you have read the bible. Consider your time of reflection on the preaching of the word and conversations with friends about the Lord. Seek to encourage one another with the encouragement you have received from the word. 4. How could you help one another in coming weeks give greater attention the word of God?
