SERMON NOTES: We are often tempted to believe the lie that God doesn’t love us. God shows his love for us in two unique ways in Romans 5:5-8. #1) The Experience of God’s Love (v.5) - God’s love Poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. #2) The Evidence of God’s Love (v.6-8) - While we were: - weak (v6) - ungodly (v8) - enemies of God (v10) Christ’s life, death, and resurrection are real things that happened in real history. Paul tells us we can point to them as evidence that God loves us. As believers, we never have to wonder if God loves us. He has made it clear. Through the Experience of the Holy Spirit being poured into our hearts.(v5) 2.
