Read James 3:1-12 Q2: James 3:5-9 talks about the power of our words. Have you seen in your life how careless words can cause unintended consequences? Q3: James 3:2 tells us that the man who is perfect (complete and mature) is able to both bridle his tongue and his body. And James 1:26, If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless.Yet, he tells us in 3:8 that no human being can tame the tongue. How then are we to approach taming the tongue? Q4: In James 3:9-12, we see that we use our words to both bless the Lord and curse those created in God’s likeness.
