Partnering to Bridge the Gap
Bridge Plan | FY26
At the Partner Vision Night, we shared our monthly congregational giving need of $27,500 for Fiscal Year 2026. In Fiscal Year 2025 (which ended in August), our internal giving averaged $25,477.
We remain deeply thankful for every partner who faithfully gives—whether you have been with us for years or have just recently joined in this shared work! The Lord has been so kind to gather a church who are both faithful and sacrificially generous with the whole of their lives—their time, talent and treasure.
As we look ahead, we recognize that our internal contributions are not yet consistently meeting the $27,500 threshold. We have worked hard to build a lean budget, so this really is a minimum threshold to meet our monthly expenses. In light of this, the elders are praying that the Lord would raise a handful of households to help bridge the gap. This would be a temporary, intentional partnership through August 2026.
How does the Bridge Plan work?
A Bridge Plan partner will agree to contribute a percentage of any monthly contribution shortfall. At the end of each month, we will notify each Bridge plan partner of the total need, as well as their agreed contribution towards the need.
For example, if a household commits to cover 10% of a month's contribution shortfall, and that month's contributions are $24,000 (leaving a $3,500 need), that household would make a one-time contribution of $350 using a special online giving link provided by Joyce.
If you sense the Lord leading you or your household to be one of these temporary Bridge Plan partners, we would love for you to speak with Justin MacKenzie, Ro Ramdehol or an elder in the coming weeks. Justin and Ro have been helpful to the elders in recent months as a financial advisory team, and have offered to visit Community Groups over the next two months to answer any questions and to help us communicate well with the congregation. As always, we call the whole of the congregation to continue to monitor the monthly giving report in the Top 3, lifting it to the Lord in prayer, asking him to provide for the work he has called us to share together.
