We will not hide them from their children, but tell the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might, and the wonders that he has done...
So that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God,
but keep his commandments.
Psalm 78:4&7

Check-In to CPKids | Sundays at 10AM
Our mission is to present the story of God to the Children of CrossPointe Coast through teaching God's Word and coming alongside families in partnership as we seek to shepherd the children's heart and point them to Jesus Christ.
We Love Our Families!
We have established CPKids to serve families with children from Nursery through 5th grade. Most Sundays during Celebration Service these children sit under teaching and fellowship that is specifically designed to point them to Jesus in ways that are appropriate to their age. While your child is in CPKids they will be lead in songs, Bible study, crafts, prayer, snack-time and play-time. We use a curriculum titled, Treasuring Christ to guide the teachers in their planning, teaching and activities. The curriculum walks chronologically through the Bible teaching each story and passage as it reveals God’s grand narrative of Creation, Fall, Redemption and Restoration. Children who participate in CPKids from K through 5th grade will walk through the Bible 3 times. Each time with an increasing, age-appropriate knowledge and application.
Shortly after the sermon, the CPKids teachers will bring the children (except nursery) into the Celebration Service to join their families for the last three songs.
How We Disciple the Children
We are currently in Year 3 of the Treasuring Christ curriculum. The Treasuring Christ curriculum is a 3-year cirriculum that CPCoast rotates through year after year. The lessons move chronologically through the Bible at an age appropriate level. A child who is in CPKids from age 3 through 5th grade, will walk through the Bible 3 times with their peers and CPKids teachers!
The 1st Sunday of the Month
Once per month we invite children in K through 5th grades to join their families for the whole of the Celebration Service. We see this opportunity as one of the ways we can come alongside families to shepherd their children's hearts and point them to Jesus Christ.
Why do we take up this challenge?
Why do we take up this challenge?
- Where else do children see such a large group of adults singing and listening and reading and praying?
- It gives the pastor a regular opportunity to speak to the children.
- It brings whole households under one teaching from the Bible.
Singing
- Sit where your child can easily see the screen. Probably near the center isle and toward the front.
- You are free to whisper and quietly explain difficult words.
- Sing loud! What an opportunity for your children to see you celebrating Jesus!
Listening
- Sit next to your youngest children.
- Ask adults without children to help you.
- Point to the words as we read the Bible together.
- Help your child take notes. Write Bible references and main ideas for them.
- You are free to whisper questions for your child to think about or to explain difficult words and concepts.
- Take your child to the bathroom before the service.
CPKids Bags are available in the lobby and are resourced with notebooks, pencils, crayons and activity books.
